Beat Exam Stress with Natural Stress Relief
It’s almost exam time. Late nights, cramming, and tons of stress associated with exams. Exam time is one of the most stressful times in the life of a student. After all it’s only their future that is riding upon the outcome of those tests, right? How do you beat exam stress?
Students can suffer from all sorts of stress related illness during exam time. From the basic stomach ache to intense migraine headaches, many experts liken the period of exam time to one of the most stressful life events that a person can have. The great thing about these is that you can do them at your own pace, and in the privacy of your own space. If you a college student, get a group together, and have fun. In fact the idea is catching on so well, a school in New Zealand began offering yoga to their students to beat exam stress.
Another good tool? Mental relaxation techniques often called meditation. No, I don’t mean sitting on the floor muttering a “katra” sound, with your legs crossed and fingers closed. I mean listening to specially designed music that is digitally enhanced to drive the brains calming response. Some excellent ones exist such as this one from Holothink.
Another good choice? Specifically designed supplements, that help you become calm and focused, not ones designed to keep you awake. One of the biggest problems that many student have is they don’t realize it’s the stress that wearing them down, and taking stimulants, caffeine pills and the like on makes that worse, where they would feel more productive the calmer they were.
